The UPPward Chrome Extension’s Active Protection feature reviews the URLs users visit to preemptively alert them of potentially malicious sites. As you can find in our privacy policy, the collected data includes visited sites and search keywords entered into the extension.
However, the data will always remain anonymous. No personally identifiable information will be collected other than email address you used to sign-up for the Sentinel Portal in the commercial version. You can deactivate the Active Protection feature anytime. However, doing so will disable any auto alerts of potentially malicious sites.
